The upcoming adaptation of Jane Austen’s classic novel stars Daisy Edgar-Jones as Elinor Dashwood and Esmé Creed-Miles as her sister Marianne.
After their family is forced to leave its estate, the Dashwood sisters move to a modest cottage with their widowed mother. From there, they navigate romance, heartbreak and the expectations placed upon them, with Elinor guided by reason and Marianne more inclined to follow her heart.
The film is directed by Georgia Oakley, with a screenplay by Australian writer Diana Reid. The cast also includes Caitríona Balfe, Frank Dillane, Herbert Nordrum, George MacKay and Fiona Shaw.
